I've had visitors all the way from the USA.......

I'm sure our visitors Lynn and Fred from California have come all the way over here to the UK
just to see me.  Although, mum says they have come here to see her and dad.....humph!!!  either way I personally had a great time with them and we went out a lot to show them the sights around here.

First, we took them down to our local beach.  This turned out to be more Drama than casual Walk,
as a surfer got stuck very near, too near in fact to some rocks.  Fred, Dad and Me helped the surfers friend phone for help, which wasn't needed after all as Fred spotted the surfer was okay......

Fred climbed up on some rocks to
look for him...

and spotted the surfer, letting everyone know...

and you can see why it was dangerous out there for surfers....those waves were relentless....

Luckily, the surfer was okay and had managed to climb onto the rocks further down the beach to safety.  Phew!  A great relief for all including me, I wasn't too keen on the idea of swimming out to save him.

It was time to dig a hole...after all, I might need to hide in it....

Lynn had a good time taking photographs of the rocks and stones...

although I was convinced Lynn was photographing ME....

Wandering back home along the esplanade Fred walked over to read a notice board about the beach....

and I wouldn't budge without him....

I had to make sure we all stayed together,
which we did as we headed home
for lunch.

  2. Wow drama on the high seas. :) so glad surfer guy was ok. Did you make sure he got back? Very rocky shores there. Looks like William bonded with HIS company to watch over them. :)) fun pix. Looks like Lynn was pretty bundled up. Was it that cold? Or just windy?

    1. Yes, the surfer guy was fine. He looked a little shaken but not stirred, lol. It was a little cold, but it was more windy than anything else. Mum thought it was going to really pour, but we escaped it, unlike today where we have just had a huge thunder storm /(^.^)\

  6. We had several exciting events when we were with William, Ann and Graham. But I'll let William tell the other when he and if he decides. It wasn't freezing cold, but my extra gear kept me warm. I was grateful for it. And William we very much came to see YOU as well as your people! It took me a few days, but I did get used to your jumping up and your kisses, we had such a grand time with you all those three plus days!

  7. Wow, that is quite an adventure, and I'm glad that it all ended well -- It might not have if you, William the Lurcher Lifeguard hadn't been there. Those waves don't look like anything to try and challenge, I can't believe some one did. I'm also glad your friend got some great photos of YOU!

    Enjoy your day!
