Just had another great holiday

plus it was at the SEASIDE...well, mostly and the best part for me.  One of the beaches I LOVE is

SHELL BAY near Sandbanks, just across the water from Sandbanks in fact.  And at this time of year

we had to drive around to it, as the ferry was having its maintenance done (you can see it in the

background in some of these pictures).

and have you seen this great idea.

A 2 Minute Beach Clean,
with handy picker upper gadgets for the humans
plus bags (although people had been busy already clearing up
and the bags had been used
and the bins had stuff in them)

besides,
the beach looked clean apart from the seaweed
and that will go out on the next tide

On a different beach...

a bit like a busmans holiday for me to go to a beach still, a change is as good as a rest, as they say and I really enjoy visiting this particular beach....I get to travel by boat to get there too...yay, more excitement!

Crossing from Sandbanks to Shell Bay on the ferry (mum is going to do a post about it later this week) but I thought you would like to see me having fun there....

can you see me...

Okay, so I love the water, but I also love rolling in the sand too....I won't repeat what mum said!!

Haha...sorry mum,
but I did have a terrific time

Surfer watch

having found the surfers' vans, I got dad to help me look out to sea for them!

ah....there they are

Ferry nice....

Another mini break, I love doing this, getting to stay in familiar places...on this occasion down to Bournemouth - and over on the ferry to Shell Bay for a run on the beach there

boats have to get on past before the ferry moves

I had a great time.   We then travelled on to Swanage - but I'll put that in my next post!

Shell Bay

I have just returned from a few days away with mum and dad.  This meant staying in a Hotel, which I always enjoy...lots of people to see and say hello to for one thing, and lots of different walkies for another....

Shell Bay down at Sandbanks is one of my favourites, for one thing I get to ride over on a ferry

(and those buildings on the right are part of the peninsula at Sandbanks and
is said to be the second most expensive real estate in the world!)

and when we get over to Shell Bay I have a good game with dad

even if there is more seaweed here

I had a great time!
