What - A beach with NO SAND!

Had a lovely walk today down to a different beach...
Except when we got there someone had replaced the Sand
with PEBBLES!

Crazy difficult to walk on...
but we did walk through a lovely wood to get there
and me and Hamish stopped at a stream for a refreshing drink

and a little rest on the way back...

there was a lost blue teddy having a rest too...

I really wanted to save Ted and take him home, but mum and dad said No.

Little Hamish wanted him too...
"Good try Hamish"

so onward and upward it was
back to the car....two peacocks watched us walking past,
they were too high up for me to say hello to!

  1. We don't have rocky beaches around here… don't think that'd be fun at all… hope the blue bear finds his way home. You and Hamish looked like you had fun on your walk. I'm in Charleston SC… USA that's a long way from where you are.

    1. No, the rocky beaches are difficult to walk on for my paws...I managed though and it was a fun adventure. Hope we go there again, I have lots more exploring to do....♥william

  2. Ah...how lovely it is to walk in the English countryside, through the woods to the beach & back. So cute how both lads wanted the teddy bear, lol.

  5. I love the rocky beaches, and am always looking for fun shapes of rocks (usually heart-shaped). But I think not being on the beach took you to an enchanted forest, being guarded by a "magic bear." Or something like that... ;-)

  9. What an awesome day you. I would have wanted to save little Ted too William, but what would have happened when his owner came back looking for him :) You really are such a good boy!

  10. That beach is a lot like some of the Puget Sound beaches. It's a good thing the tide goes out and leaves smaller rocks.
