All steam ahead...

Here I am ...  on the station platform in Bodmin waiting for a steam train...as you see I am fairly relaxed about the whole thing...

and here I am ON the train in our own private compartment no less...

well it was on the way Back actually...on the way we were in another part of the train....

 here...

where I was able to relax of course, this train travel business is exhausting!

Tell you what, here are some videos mum took.  So sit back and enjoy, especially if you are a bit of an anorak.....which incidentally we aren't, but there was a really cheap offer on for this ride, so we thought we would give it a go....

haha...mum nearly dropped the camera when she took this one...

  1. We like the way you are so relaxed William. We never saw the steam train when we went to Bodmin. Cool now we know it is there. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly.

  2. That first photo is priceless!
William, I can't believe you are so unfazed by steam trains yet can be afraid of your own shadow:-)
Steam trains are fabulous, I'm afraid I can remember compartments like that!

  3. The first photo of William and his Da makes our heart puddle. So wonderful. A 'Tea for Two' tour (with dog) sounds delightful - how we wish they allowed such things over here the States. Alas, unless one is a certified 'service' animal, we must all stay home. We're sure there was a biscuit treat for dear William at some point during tea time. Lucky dog!

    Arrrooo!

    1. It's something that Hotels here have realised they were missing out on...and people with dogs tend to be tidier and more considerate because of their beloved pet. So its a win win for everyone.
