Look what I found on the beach the other day

The 'Bucket and Spade Brigade' left it behind.

Now, you know I'm a lad who likes to dig,
and I think this will be perfect for the job.

Trouble is, I can't seem to make it work...

Dad said we would leave it there,
sitting sadly in the sand all by itself,
because eventually a little person will come along
and be delighted to find it.

  1. Having opposable thumbs helps with the shovel! But I'd bet your paws work just as well! Some little person will be thrilled to find the shovel, I'm sure.

  2. Good try William, but I don't think you need any help when it comes to digging! ;)

  3. Being a digger dog you work much better with your paws :)
I hope the little 'un isn't too upset at losing his spade.

  4. It seems our front paws work a lot better than human tools when it comes to digging.
