Mum says the Like button kept playing up. She tried resetting it, but within a day or so it wouldn't be working again, so decided to delete it altogether. Anyway, we love having your Comments, so please stop by and say hello 🐾

Watching the fireworks

I have just received pictures

from little Hamish's mum taken on his walk last night.

You see, there are a lot of people having firework displays, even

though it isn't Firework Night yet....

Remember, remember the 5th of November

Hamish's mum had a bit of trouble with him, and

that's because Hamish LOVES fireworks!

He wouldn't budge until he had watched them all...

....He was going nowhere til the fireworks finished!

Please remember to keep your pets safely at home during

the Firework displays.....unless, of course, you have a Hamish!

  1. Wow, he's very brave !
I don't do fireworks, there's been a 'puddle on the kitchen floor' incident because of those horrid fireworks !

    1. Oh Princess Leah, puddles on kitchen floors can be excused when fireworks are to blame.

i've never heard of a dog liking fire works!! that's amazing.
my zeke liked thunder. but was terribly scared of all man made BOOMS.
little hamish. oh what a love. again... he reminds me of my orange cocker sara.
she never grew bigger than a 6 month old puppy. and I had her fur trimmed in a 'puppy cut.'
she fooled people for years. she however... DID NOT like fireworks!

  5. Bless him, what a brave little guy your best friend is!
Funnily enough Annie is not afraid of the loud bangs, which is amazing as she does not like the rattle of trailers passing on the road and will try to lunge at them! Something from her past we reckon before she found her forever home with us.

    1. Something really must have frightened Annie with trailers, what a pity, at least she has a safe home with you both.

  6. Hamish is a cocker spaniel right? He looks a bit like our Joey, who is terrified of loud noises, especially fireworks. Funny how that works!

    1. Yes, Hamish is a cocker spaniel - very orange one! Sorry Joey is terrified of loud noises, that can be very upsetting for all.
